REBT UK Primary Practicum

New Introductory course coming soon

The original introduction to REBT

You can expect to be immersed in Ellis's ABC framework for understanding emotional distress and supporting people to achieve their goals.  You will learn about how our irrational beliefs interact with adversities we experience to bind us in unhealthy responses.  As well as learning to help your client to understand this process, you will develop skills in powerful disputation methods and homework.  When understanding, disputation and homework are used effectively you will see how you can help people achieve profound psychological change.
Our courses use teaching, demonstrations, Q&A, and live supervision in groups to optimise your learning.  What makes our courses  stand out is we cap the number of attendees, meaning that there will be no more than 16 people on your course.  This gives more time for you to get involved in opportunities to raise questions, seek support and address concerns.  We will get to know you and you will get to know us!

The course was a well-structured and supportive introduction to REBT. I really gained a sense of the model and found the peer counselling aspect a great opportunity to practice and build on our learning throughout the primary
